Washed some pullets for the Hutchinson MN show! We'll see how they do! Sadly no other d'Anvers there. But I brought quite a few. A quail display minus the hen (because Queeny is molting! ) and plus a blue quail pullet

Got best and reserve breed at Hutchinson but did not better

Not sure if these pics are the one that got best or reserve though. I think reserve?
They are pretty equal in quality and were in the same trio.
There was ONE other d'Anver that wasn't mine that beat my other pullet.
In total I brought a quail young trio, pullet, cockerel, and cock. And a blue quail pullet.
Queeny brought down my plans for a display because she was molting
Next year I will have more than one hen so I don't have to depend on one bird.
Here is the Rosecomb that beat my chances for reserve RCCL

Best was a black Wyandotte pullet but it would not pose for a picture so this is all you get.

Out of the myriad birds on our farm, it's mostly just the tiny d'Anvers pullets that are laying right now.
