Un infarto is "a heart attack." Locally, there is a peak that was called Squaw Peak, that has been renamed Piestewa Peak. It is common for people to climb the peak, and it is somewhat strenuous.

It is the worst place to have a heart attack. Paramedics would have to fly in with a helicopter.

No esta muerto todavia!

Sabado tuve una exposicion de ceramica, y ayer trabaje todo el dia preparando para otra exposicion el fin de semana que viene.
No tenia tiempo para visitar con mis amigos aqui en BYC.

Esta manana me desperte a la una y media, y estoy pagando facturas.

Diganme, algien aqui tiene problemas con las gallinas detrullendo el huevo de solamente una otra gallina? No entiendo porque, pero el huevo de solamente my gallina EE, siempre lo encuentro destruido. Sera porque is verde? La cascara es tan dura como todos los otros huevos, haci que no es porque es fragil que se rompe.

Saturday I had a pottery show, and yesterday I worked all day preparing for another show this coming weekend. I didn't have time to visit with my friends here on BYC.

This morning I woke at 1:30, and I am paying bills.

Tell me, does anyone here have problems with hens destroying the egg of only one other hen? I don't understand why, but the egg of only my EE hen, I find destroyed. Could it be because it is green? The shell is as hard as all the other eggs, so it isn't because it is fragile that it breaks.
 
Mud Hen, que bueno que usted esta envolucrada en las artes ceramicas. Es una pasa tiempo o su oficio?

A mi, parece que el problema de la destruccion de huevo de una sola gallina esta relacionada al orden social del gallinero.

Es mejor a confundirlas. Ponga huevos falsos en el nido. Huevos de madera, focos or huevos de ceramica. Para frustrarlas, ponga tres o cuatro o mas en el nido. Seria facil a usted a fabricar huevos de ceramica.

Mud Hen, it is good that you are involved in the ceramic arts. Is it a hobby or your profession?

To me, it seems that the problem of the eggs of only one hen being destroyed is related to the pecking order of the coop.

It is better to confuse them. Put fake eggs in the nest. Wooden eggs, light bulbs or ceramic eggs. To frustrate them, put three or four or more in the nest. It ought to be easy for you to make ceramic eggs.

Chirpy, usted ha empezado a oir la radio en espanol? Es muy facil, no cuesta nada de tiempo. Goza de la musica. Oiga cuando usted esta trabajando o manejando el automovil. A veces los locutores son muy nocivos, pero es un buen metodo a aprenderse

Chirpy, have you started to listen to the radio en Spanish? It is very easy, it doesn't take a lot of time. Enjoy the music. Listen when you are working or driving the car. Sometimes the announcers are obnoxious, but it is a good way to learn.

Todavia Vivo.

Hice el perimetre de Squaw Peak hoy. (Hora y 5 minutos... tuve que correr)

La semana pasada hice el Camelback, (42 minutos hasta el cima)

Todavia no he tenido un infarto pero mi presion de sangre alto esta manana hasta 130/90.

He bajado a unos 48 libras desde Julio. Tengo que perder a unos 50 mas.
 
Buena suerte con su tarea Mahonri! Hace como cuarenta anos la esposa y yo nos subemos al piramide del sol en las afueras de la ciudad de Mexico. En aquel tiempo, yo estaba bien gordo. Y en el momento yo tuve la idea que el cumbre seria un lugar muy estrana a morirse.

Good luck with your task, Mahonri. About forty years ago the wife and I climbed the pyramid of the sun in the outskirts of Mexico City. At that time, I was pretty heavy. As we reached the summit, it occured to me that it would be a very strange place to die.

Thanks to God, it didn't happen.

Mud Hen, yo lei en el otro hilo de su problema con ladrones y vagabundos. Aqui tenemos la misma problema. En el invierno llegen muchas touristas sin fondos.

El clima esta muy suave y la vida es facil. Las iglesias les dan comida y ropa. Pero para comprar alcohol y drogas, ellos roban toda cosa de alumino o cobre.

Tenemos que mantener las escaleras de alumino con cadena y candado. Y la quitamos la rueda de la carretilla. Nadie va a robar una carretilla sin rueda.

Muchos de ellos padecen de trastornes mentales. Es muy importante a cerrar las puertas bien, y los automoviles tampoco. El peor es a hallar una persona dormida en su automovil. Ojala que el no ha hizo vomito o algo peor en el carro.

Y cuando llege el tiempo de calor, ellos regresan a Chicago or Nueva York o adonde quieren.
