amprol or Corid expired sept 14, still safe?

I have some amprol here I was about to use it. I saw a little hint of blood in one of the poops. The bottle says it expired sept 14. Is it still safe to use? Its a gallon of Amprol.

I would use it (and I'm a pharmacist)

Most of our (human) medications don't actually expire or turn into something terrible on the date of expiration.
