As they continued on in silence, Sky suddenly stopped and gasped. She whipped the blades of her gauntlets out.
Ancient whispers of long dead souls and high-pitched laughter that hardly sounded human engulfed them. Sadness, too, struck Twilight like a sudden wave. But if Sky felt any emotion at that moment, she didn't show it. "Don't look at them, pretend they're not real." She whispered as they kept walking. Creatures of all sorts, skinny, tall, and grotesque ran about. Some missing limbs, even one with a part of it's cheek and eye gone.
"Just pretend they're not real." Sky sounded calmer and more in control than she should have been.

Twilight nodded and didn't pay any attention to the creatures, she just kept walking.

Sky's shoulders were hunched and she suddenly seemed less calm. Like her nerves were shot. "Just pretend it isn't real..."

She is the killer
Taking innocent lives
for what she thinks is better...
She is Auditore, she is Auditore...
"Don't." Sky hissed under her breath.
And it all stopped.

Twilight frowned and looked around her. It was odd that one single word could make it stop... But something dust feel right, like they didn't stop because of what sky had said...
