An Angel's purpose

Helen smiled. Just then the elevator doors opened. They were at the bottom floor. "I gotta go before they catch up to me. Bye!!" She called as she ran out the front doors of the hospital.

"Bye!" He called back. He wrapped Amy's arms around his neck and piggyback ride her out of there.

The two unknown people walked nonchalantly down the streets, the female's head ducked and the male putting an arm around her shoulders protectively. The female was tremoring from head to toe and her eyes, beneath her bangs, were dilated and insane-looking; a wild animal trapped in a cage with everyone shouting and gawking at it. In this state, it was like she was a lost puppy who'd been kicked too often.
"Sebastian..." She whispered, her voice quivering just as much as her body.
"Not much longer." He said, keeping his voice low. "Can you make it?"
"Probably..."
That's when she noticed it.

They knew she was here.
They knew very well.

The female flinched, as if suddenly awoken, and looked at Helen. "I'm so sorry!" She said, offering a helping hand. "You took quite the fall there."
Sebastian, beneath his bangs, narrowed his eyes, then flipped his hair out of the way.

The girl smiled, "It's no big deal! No harm done!" Her oddly colored eyes glimmered, amused. Sebastian, however, said nothing. He watched Helen semi-sceptically (spell fail) with narrowed crimson eyes. He kept his arm around the girl's shoulders and watched this girl. He felt the girl's heartrate increase just through his hand, because of the Faustian Contract on it; thankfully covered by his gloves. He knew that Sky knew something was wrong.
