An Armful of chicks

I just took this photo. the lighting is not the best. Maybe in a week or so I will do one to compare how they have grown.

Here is me with my head not cut off!

They are now 5 weeks old, for the Barred Rocks, and tomorrow the Buff Orpingtons will be 4 weeks old.

They have never been in the house. They are living in their coop and run. They put themselves "to coop" at dusk. And have done so since the second night. They are great chickens so far!!

That is a cute photo. Are the girls standards or bantams? They are sure sweet little things, kinda at the dinosaur stage.
