One of my banties has been laying a little white egg almost every other day for about a week and a half, she's the only of my 8 girls who is laying. This morning I went out to do some checks and I found a GREEN egg!

I didn't know what to expect exactly with the egg color of the Ameraucanas, I thought I'd get some green or blue tinted eggs at best, but more than likely some brown. This looked like it came right out of easter dye!!! Oh, it was soooooo cool! I'll post pics tomorrow!! Yippee!

great...... I can not wait to see your egg....

I have 3 Easter Eggers 22 - 26 weeks old..... no eggs yet

Congrats! I get a little blue/green egg (robin egg color and size) from my bantam EE every couple days. It's the sweetest little thing, just like her

I can't wait for my Ameraucana to start laying. The breeder I got her from breed for blue eggs, so I hope to see one soon! I am so jealous!

Kool! We have 3 Amerucanas that are 24-26 weeks but still no eggs. How old were yours before they laid? Can you post a pic of the egg?

Sorry I didn't clean it up first, but took the pic to send DH as soon as I got it from the nest.
