Umm, that is just an empty shell of a newly hatch chick that got stuck on the blue egg. I had a good laugh though!!!

It sure could be, but even the membrane covered about 2/3 of the egg when I found it—I’ve had plenty of broodies and have had eggs stuck on others before. Never had they been so totally melded—membranes and all. I don’t think you would have laughed so much if you would have found it under your broody.
