An introduction

hi I am new to this site but, unlike the majority of members, I am FAR from new to keeping chickens.

I am in my late fifties and was, for several years, employed by a local battery farming unit. I was in charge of two California barn houses - each holding 10,000 hens.

I have now scaled down considerably and have six free range crossbreed hens and four Pekin bantams of show quality.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know many of you over the coming years.
