My Doozy cat had many nafarious habits, but one of the most annoying was how she slept in the winter. She slept smack dab in the middle of the bed, but that wasn't enough, she needed a nest. She would pull all the covers into the center so she was nice and cozy. Dh held on to the blankets better, so it was always me who woke up at 3 am, butt hanging in the breeze, trying to figure out why I was so cold. Wretched beast!

We booted one of our cats out in June because she decided the litter box was optional. We have a screened patio so we are going to put a cat door in the screen for her to get in and out. I have a basket I put out there for her and she immediately took to it. We're gonna get or build a little insulated cat house for her. Last night it rained real hard. Usually I let her in the patio when it starts. Well I was busy bathing the little one when it started. So when I finished the bathing I saw kitty on the outside of my window sill crying. So what do I do? I grab the umbrella and go get her. I was soaked from the shins down. Good grief I'm a sucker.

You wouldnt even know that I have cats in the warmer months they are always gone so much. In the winter though that is a different story, 6 cats draped all over everything as close to the kero heater as they can get.

My one cat, Karen, is just nuts. If she want attention what does she do? Climbs your legs of course! I also have to put her away when one family member comes over, she is forever trying to get his eye lashes! Not good! She only does it to him too.

I also have another cat that I am sure is mentally challanged. He has the weirdest way of doing things. He dosnt run either, he hops everywhere. When he falls asleep on high things we have to move him, he will get so relaxed with his head hanging off whatever he is laying on he will fall off on his head.

Well, the cats finally seem to understand that I will not let them camp in the open doorway and they are not happy about it. They have decided that they like my fleece jammies though. I can't sit still for more than 2 seconds without one of them plopping on me!​

What is the THING cats HAVE to pee on the wet towels??? My cat got a fresh litterbox with some of her urine spots and one "tootsie" poop left behind so she can use it. But noooooooo, she had to use the wet towels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It does not happen often but I am perplexed why she did it. I caught her in the act and boy she knew she was had!

Thanks for the vinegar idea! I forgot about it. Do I let it wash in vinegar in one wash cycle and then wash it again with detergent??????????

When it's cold and wet outside, I understand that makes you unhappy and you are welcome to come in the house, BUT, by that same thread I do not want your cold and wet self in my lap. See, I don't want to be cold and wet either!

When you hide in the covers you can hardly blame me for laying on you! After all, black kitties are hard to see in the dark. I really do not appreciate the revenge of the claws!

I'm sorry that they stopped selling your favorite kitten food. I carefully picked something healthy as a replacement. Eat it or starve, it's your choice.
