After having a number of poor hatches I have decided to monitor temperature and humidity more closely... I am using an ebay model 48 egg incubator.
I bought a digital hygrometer/thermometer meant for reptile enclosures as well as an analogue hygrometer and mercury thermometer (thinking the more readings the better)
The problem is I now have a range of humidity and temperature readings which is driving me crazy...
Incubator:
-t: 37.8C
-H 26%
digital:
-t: 36.3C
-h: 29%
analogue hygrometer
-40%
mercury thermo
-38C
Are these reading variation within normal limits for positional variation of probes? Which should I believe?
