Ancona & Buff Minorcas i was going to buy me some and sale the eggs on ebay i just wanted to know if that be good i deal need to know if the lay good etc think you

I have a few Ancona, roos are aggressive and flighty, hens are flighty. They do lay nice medium sized white eggs.

It may make a difference if you handle them a lot as chicks. I did not.

 

[Buff Hooligans]

My friend that I split a hatchery order with has Anconas. Their combs get very tall and flop over. Their white eggs are gorgeous.
Their reputation is that they are very wary of possible predators, so they would be good if you plan to free-range them, but that also makes me think that they may not be the calmest birds you could have.

Yes, their combs do flop (especially the females) and if you are in a cold climate area they'll be prone to frostbite.
