lol, older hens will def put a young roo in his placeThis is normal, especially in young cockerels, more space often takes care of it. However, if there's one cockerels growing out who's full of spit and vinegar. I'll often isolate him or put him in with some old hens.

They're beautiful, productive, hardy, tough, excellent foragers, fairly self-reliant, disease resistant, charming; their pattern is challenging, but I like a good challenge.
