what kind of egg is this. I have two anconas and a pekin. Ive been getting normal bigger white eggs and my bigger ancona has been sitting on them. But yesterday I got a little just like this one and it was broken because the shell was weak. And there was no yolk just the clear gooy stuff with a little yellow blob. But I didnt know if its an egg from one of the ducks that just started laying or what...

most likely it is or it could be a second or third egg of the day. Yes you heard me right. So etimes my muscovies will lay 2 to 3 eggs a day and if its the third one its usually really small and weak if it even has a shell. However its so cute

Well I was wondering. Because I only ever see one duck sit in the eggs. But every once in a while I will get two big eggs in a day that are hard shells but it doesnt happen often. So I thought maybe I had two laying eggs but inly one duck was laying on them. But maybe thats the only ine laying.

Our first Ancona egg! Just shy of 20 weeks. It's small but has a full shell, and I know the size will increase as she picks up steam with laying.

I wiped it down with a warm damp paper towel. Should I refrigerate it? Keep it on the counter?
