So, I have 2 broodies. I got 12 eggs from RiR, barred rock, and new Hampshire red from a local chicken guy. He occasionally sells on eBay, but local, eggs from today, actually from this afternoon. He collects twice daily.
So I slipped 5 under my d'uccle and 7 under my Easter egger. They both gathered the eggs under them while I placed them in front of them. Seemed very eager. I am such a newbie, my greatest fear is partially developed eggs, but I can't do much about that. I am so excited!
