Someone show me one network dedicated to truth in journalism, not selling commercial space or pushing their own agendas.

NPR

I am a sustaining member of WUTC. No corporate sponsors, no political bias. Food for your brain

And great music to boot!

I feel bad for anyone that doens't have access to public radio.

I should have mentioned that but only when I travel to northern or southern michigan. I can't get it inside the house here

Well- I can think of FAR worse atrocities in the world than keeping fox news out of the white house. Hmmmm- how about Halliburton? Blackwater? $4 gas? 5000 US soldiers killed for Iraqi oil, selling of National parks to mining companies.......

NPR is unique in it's own way. It definitely has a liberal leaning to it, more what I call academic liberalism, not the angry junk we see on MSNBC. They do have sponsors though, sort of. I would think most of it's members are somewhat to the left so they are going to be sensitive to that. They are also government subsidized which bugs me a little. I can't say I have listened to it once since Obama entered office so I could be totally wrong here. It has happened.

I especially like the "calm" state of the commentator's voices and, being a classical enthusiast, the music is pretty darn good.

The only thing I don't like about NPR is Netta Oolaby (sp?) She talks like she's a Dr.Suess character/narrator. She's just a reporter, so luckily we don't have to hear her very often. Terri Gross has the BEST interviews.

A hypnotist usually doesn't scream, "YOU ARE BECOMING EXTREMELY SLEEPY, NOW."

They are all slanted...

Maybe when Bush was in office they shouldn't have let MSNBC into cover the news..

My question is where is gas still at $4.00?
