They are really beautiful. I am thinking of silver Apple yards. Are they especially loud? I live in town. Thanks!

We adore ours! We are in town too, but on the edge with 4 acres. We worry a little about their noise, especially the girls in the morning when people are sleeping with their windows open come summer. The girls are louder than we expected, but when they are out foraging, they keep it down. I think we'll be getting up with the sun this summer (which can be a little challenging here in Maine!).They are really beautiful. I am thinking of silver Apple yards. Are they especially loud? Love your flock!!!
They are so precious
When will all that snow melt?
Ours came one day and left the nextthis past week
This is so exciting seeing someone else with Silver Appleyards! Here in Minnesota we get plenty of snow, so my girls love getting out to swim around in it as well! What influenced you to get them?
So so so so adorable!!Our seven yearling silver Appleyards have become old hats at winter--true Mainers for sure! But after some VERY warm temps recently, not to mention lots of swimming and even some foraging, they were a wee bit surprised to wake up to this.
I love them. So cute.We do too! Here they are by name en route to their morning swim:
