So, I have what I am fairly sure is a three week old Cream Legbar pullet. I posted about her being a jerk last night and people were suggesting she was either a roo(don’t think so) or a turkey? Uhhh, don’t think so. I’m still fairly sure she’s a female Cream Legbar. . . Thoughts?

Who suggested she was a turkey??
Unfortunately, it's too early to say yet, if she starts getting little top knot feathers, you'll know for sure.

A few people thought so. They are auto sexing, and she looked exactly like all the pictures of baby pullets when I first got her. Many of them seemed to turn grey as they got older, but not all. She was sold to me as a pullet. I hope they were right.

I tried to catch some photos of her chipmunk stripes while she was preening this morning

No worries! It's a common confusion since we usually think of barred birds as black and white striped chickens, it sort of turns into the question of is a zebra a white horse with black stripes or a black horse white stripes.

I had an Easter egger hen we named Tiger for the black stripes on her chick feathers. The name stuck even after she molted her juvenile feathers and didn't have stripes anymore.

What a beauty! Do you happen to have pics of her as a chick? I don’t really care what breed mine is as long as she’s a pullet.
