I got my first chickens on Wednesday. Now it's Friday.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Four. I expect this number to increase soon.
(3) What breeds do you have?
1 Silkie
1 Silver-laced Wyandotte
2 ISA Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have yet to find out! So far, I am just loving how curious my chicks are.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a graphic designer and illustrator. It's my livelihood but also a hobby. I also love horseback riding, pottery, and working on my tinyhouse.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've got two Pyrenees mixes and a mustang mare.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
You guys come up pretty high up in the search results when I've googled chicken questions. Finally decided it was time to join!
