And the lightening strikes.

It's a doozy and I just spent 20 min. trying to coax 3 chickens out from under a trailer that has wooden slats so they were getting drenched as it was but still were not coming out to be rescued so I could throw them in the coop....silly birds....made me get a rake and shoo 'em out. ha ha.

Not a dry place on me.

No rain here. It is starting to be dry and need a bit of rain too!

I am hoping there will be storms coming thru this area but weatherman said all is staying north of us.

It is a Garth Brooks song.

So I caught the polish roo first and threw him in the wood shop cuz it was closest. I shoo'd one br hen out and she ran to the coop. And the other br hen I was able to grab her foot and get her. Don't know why I didn't use the rake in the first place. No, I laid there in the grass and made rooster found a bug in the dirt doot doots come and get it noises....it didn't fool them. Not even saying, come here babies..and makin kissy noises. Thunder roll CRASH LIGHTENING! Yeah, think they thought I was out of my mind.

Then when I got the last hen I went back in the wood shop and the polish roo ran around crazy like I was gonna strap him to the bench and use the circular saw on him. freakazoid. ha ha ha.

But now they are all tucked in the coop and hopefully dryin out.

Oh Good Grief Maple, I'd have thought you were going to do bodily harm to me too if I'd seen you going thru the antics you just described!
Wish I could have seen it though!

That is too funny Maple! I was out in a doun pour trying to get escaped chicks the other day! They are some fast little buggers! Today I was at the doctors and saw on the news, " No rain in sight" so I was quite surprised to get half way to the store when all heck breaks loose!!! In all fairness to the weather guy, the sun WAS shining!!!
