Sorry the pics aren't the best hard to get them standing still.

Yes they can and yes it does, might be too late to wrap if feathers are grown in, but another member said she waited until her goose molted and wrapped while feathers where growing in and it fixed it.

I have a somewhat better picture to post

The gosling was hatched in April so it's about 3 months old now. When do they moult?

That is dif angel wing and most likely the flight feathers are in fully by now. so next big molt will be next year after breeding season is over. unless you want to try wrapping now I guess it would be worth as try but it isn't life threatening or harmful to the gosling at all. just cosmetic, they can catch their wings on fencing and other sharp things so you might want to clip the flight feathers on that wing to keep that from happening.

cut the protein in the feed to 14-15%... I have only had it appear in different breeds even! when I didn't cut the feed... and even had it appear in a 1 yr old adult that didn't have it before , when I changed to a 22% layer ...! Wild geese when fed heavy protein diets have shown up with it..... I am more and more convinced it is a feed issue...

I didn't even think about the food being an issue. I'm not sure if Gertrude is a male or a female yet. I have a white goose too. Gertrude I hatched from egg 100% hatch rate. One fatality at 3 weeks, two fatalities after 6 weeks due to predator. Lost Gertrude's sibling and another white gosling in the same night. Hate raccoons. The white gosling I got in a package so Stella I am unsure is male or female but was hatched in early May. They are about 2 weeks apart in age. 4 months and 3 months old now respectively.
