Angel Wing?

I'm going to be attempting to record a video today on how I wrapped mine. I used the exact method shown on the video with the raw chicken wing, but sometimes I think it's confusing to people when they're suddenly working around feathers.
:bow, that would be fantastic!

She won't fix herself. They need a balanced diet. 17% is not high protein.
I would try a sock wrap. I posted the links about 2 or 3 posts up ftom your original post in here.
If the sock wrap doesn't work then vet wrap. Or vet wrap with sock over it. You just have to keep at it.
are there pictures of the sock wrap? are you using the tube part of a high sock? or the part the foot goes in? I tried googling "angel wing sock wrap" and didn't turn up any results

So the feed is fine? I checked the ingredient list and it says min of 16% protein. I'm wondering what could be causing it. I'm not sure what they were fed before we bought them (one month of age when we brought them home) Could it be because we really have only fed them the feed? They were not interested in some of the other fresh stuff we tried in the beginning, so we thought just feed would be okay. I will cut back on the amount of feed given. They seem to really like fresh corn, not so much peas - completely uninterested in them. They eat some lettuce but there's always some left when I go back later to check. If I give them less feed maybe they will be more inclined to eat the greens.

I think I might actually have a sock that will work for wrapping. I'm fairly small which is why I didn't think that she would fit in my sock but I do have a knee high one that is much wider at the top. Will update as we go..

Thank you everyone for all of the helpful info! Trying to learn all that I can about ducks. I feel like raising my chickens is so much easier! Still waiting for them to lay their first eggs though.. going on week 16 for them, we got them about a week old. I do wish we had gotten the ducks at a younger age.

There is no conclusive evidence as to what causes angel wing. It could be genetics give them a predisposition to the problem. Scientist have pointed out that feeding bread could cause it (which is carbohydrates), excess protein, genetics, etc.
They should get 1 cup of feed per bird per day - at least that is the amount I provide all of my birds per day with some leftover at the end. The other stuff is considered treats which should be 10% of their diet or less especially since you want your birds to forage as well.
I would offer treats in moderation - if there are leftovers - discard after about 15 min.

Also, if there is no accessible grit, they should be offered grit on the side to accommdate the digestion of the treats. I offer it all of the time and especially in the winter when the ground is frozen.
Once you get the hang of ducks, I find they are easier to rear as they don't have as many issues as chickens do and not as high strung. ;)

Based on what you are saying, it sounds like we are giving them too much feed. We will definitely cut back to 1 cup per bird. That will be better for them, and our wallets!
