angel wing

I read the other post about angel wing and so glad I found it. I just noticed my 4 week old call duck has it. They have been sharing the brooder with my chicks so they have been eating the higher protein feed. I have upped the greens intake now and they love greens. I have been giving spinach and dandelion greens and I will go and buy some frozen peas today.

Should I tape her wings too? They aren't too heavy they are still close to her body. They are just poking out a little. I could take a pic. So should it clear up with the greens?

I haven't had to deal with this yet (knock on wood) and I am one of the people who feed higher protein levels. That is because I am convinced it is the excess carbohydrates that cause wing deformity and not excess protein. Regardless, I would tape it if it didn't distress the duck too much. That way if the greens don't fix it fast enough, your odds of total recovery will be better.
