He's between 2-3 months old (I think it's a he lol) His name is Frankie and I think he has angel wing. We've tried wrapping since last night and he always gets his little wings free :( Wrapped a little bit tighter earlier and hope it's not too tight but tight enough. Could anyone confirm that this is truly angel wing? It is too late to try to fix it? His feathers are still coming in.

Looks like angle wing to me. If his feathers are still growing it should still be fixable.

I know what you mean about how he keeps getting it off. I had a gosling with this a few months ago and wow, was it hard to keep on. I finally wrapped it in medipore and then covered every inch of it with duck tape. He couldn't get ahold of the tape, so it finally stayed on. You should try putting duck tape over your wrap to keep him from getting it off.

Thanks momo18clara I was pretty sure it is. Just being a novice I need some clarification so I know what I'm doing is right. Wrapped him twice since last night that he got his wings out of. Wrapped him again earlier and about to check up on him to make she he's still wrapped lol. If not... "duck" tape will be added and I got pretty designed stuff too so he can still be "styling" lol His wings are still growing I believe. I know the feathers haven't finished coming in yet.

This is a good tutorial on how to wrap it if you haven't seen it before: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/644239/angel-wing-in-ducks-how-we-wrap-to-mend-it-pictorial
Beware though! She makes it look WAY easer than it actually is! I never could get it wrapped like she does. Its still helpful though.

lol it looks easy after practice. I dont think the duckling has AW per say just yet. The flight feathers are full of blood as they grow in. That makes them super heavy and a learning curve to keeping them held in place. Watch closely over the next 7-10 days. You will see if they turn out like a hitch hikers thumb or if the duckling is able to keep them semi tucked.

It is also not uncommon to have them hang down towards the ground. Muscles have to strengthen to keep them up.

Cute duck, enjoy

Sorry meant to reply to both of you :) It was looking like this last week but is getting worse. The wing is tipped out away from his body, like a hitchhikers thumb. Trying to get a good photo wasn't the easiest lol. I'll try again in a few as he has wiggled his little wings free again *sigh* Going to attempt Celtics wrap this time though. Thanks so much for helping :) I appreciate it so much

Oh yes I did see that one as well. I'm just trying to figure out what kind of nylon and if I have one somewhere lol And if I don't I'm sure I can find a cheap pair somewhere. Is it just the top part? Like control top panty hose? You all are amazing and so helpful :) I think I'm gonna stay here lol
I'm glad you like it here and hope you do stay. as for the panty hose I have studied that pic and I'd say it would have to be the top part but not real sure wish she had explained it better how she made it. Guess once you look at it you can figure it out. let us know how it goes and with pics of course.
