Angry chicken contest

Pics
Blimey they really are all lookers !

I am actually from the duck forum - I have a number of very handsome drakes from this years hatch and a much smaller number of ladies.....so I feel your pain !

I can't eat any of mine or even sell them - we have a section of the yard for the batchelors. Appreciate its sometimes not so straightforward with roo's !
Roosters can be kept in bachelor pads too https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/rooster-flocks.72998/.

This is Pepper, she acts accordingly. She is about a year and a half. Angry because of my intruding while she lays.

Great article - question pls !

Do they make a row with competitive crowing ?

Also, loving the pics of your roo crew :love they are very handsome.
In my experience, they tend to crow less than they would if they were all separated (due to domains roos keeping their subordinates in line). But, they still have crowing matches, especially when they’re let out to free range and can see the hens.

Thanks!
