Sure hope your girl is doing much better today, I am sure she'll enjoy just being outside where she can see her flock .

She is not outside. She is inside and taking a turn after yesterdays attack and outside attempt that caught her while she was painfully getting back into muddling for food, yep she was eating and they ambushed her...oh my gosh such a dumb mistake.

They must have further damaged her already torn leg muscle as now she is limping badly and not walking around.

Today I reading up on gavage and am preparing for the feedings as she is going to start withering fast now if i don't get food in her.

I was meaning in the fenced in area you made for her Patrick. I saw the video that was sad it happened. Hopefully you can get some really good nourishment into her it will help her recover quicker. Sorry for the set back hoping with a few days of rest and TLC she'll be doing better. It is going to take some time to get her back with the flock but I think eventually it can happen. After she is healed. All the best to you and her.

I’m pretty sure casportpony has suggested Ensure before. It’s high calorie. But baby parrot formula might be better. I don’t have any experience with it.
