Animal attacked my Rouen...not sure what to do.

I’m pretty sure casportpony has suggested Ensure before. It’s high calorie. But baby parrot formula might be better. I don’t have any experience with it.

I know some people use ensure, but I use Kaytee Exact baby bird food.

Giving up for now. She is going to hurt herself with tube feeding and the stress is taking its toll. She literally almost broke her wing getting away and I had her firm. Going to try wrapping her in a towel before hand, man she is a hand full. She will not let me pry her mouth open and as soon as I try and move the tongue to get past the trach she freaks...I am tired spent and frustrated.

Hey, I almost forgot, you should melt the end of the tube a little because some tubing edges might be too sharp.

You don't need to touch her tongue, just open bill and slide tube in. It works best for me if I start by inserting the tube on their left then aim diagonally across the tongue to their right. As the tube goes down their esophagus you should be able to see the feathers moving a little.

So i got 30ml of pedialyte in her. Waiting 30 minutes then I am going to give her 40 ml more then wait until empty and fed her.

Not sure if I started in time.

She is not standing anymore. Lethargic and sleeping a lot. I waited to long...yesterday she started eating and they messed it up and I should never have tried that and just started feeding her...what was I thinking.

Sorry, I am angry at myself. Plus no help is making this difficult. I will give her some more water in a few minutes and then feed her after with anti-biotics.
