Hello world

My name is Austin;

I am located in a small town in Missouri. I am doing my first run of baby chicks in my auto rotator style incubator. I put them in on 11/28/25. So we are getting very close. I just candled them and can see the chicks forming. Super happy. Just wanted to make a post and say hello to a community with similar interest.

No, no chick in most of those. How many eggs are you showing us there? The one lower left is questionable. I leave any questionable ones in. The clears you can pull.

Those should be in lockdown though, meaning, pull any racks out, shut the turner off, and don't open the incubator until they're all hatched.

Oooh, exciting now!

Yes, so I ordered 7 fertile eggs online. Two I had from my pack of hens. So I just got my for sure good ones in my incubator. The two I put in on the 28th seem to be no good. No foul smells though ? I heard they stink if not growing.

I see veins and the black dot on all of my others so exciting
