Rescue crews from the Kitsap Humane Society seized more than 150 animals from an Olalla home Thursday morning in what is believed to be the shelter's largest animal cruelty case.
Many of the seized animals were rabbits and birds, but officials also seized miniature horses, goats, llamas, cats and dogs.

Dear community, as you have probably heard and will see on the news tonight, today we rescued more than 150 animals. They are still arriving at the shelter and will be throughout the night. We rescued birds, goats, llamas, ponies, cats, rabbits and dogs. Our staff and volunteers are giving them a health check and getting them settled. We need your help: anything you can donate for food, crates, water bottles and to help with their medical care is greatly appreciated! http://www.kitsap-humane.org/ We will also be in desperate need of volunteers to come to the shelter and help us care for these animals and we will also be in need of foster homes when the time comes. Please e-mail [email protected] if you are able to help volunteer.
