Nightmare wasn't sure about Oath's statement. Sure, as the mare, she'd done the carrying and birthing of the foals, but it had taken help from Glyph to create them. "I think they're half-his, half-mine."

Nightmare flicked her tail. She looked at Oath. "I guess I do want to stay here. I can't raise twins on my own. I'm not a Pegasus, but I do have a herding instinct."

Stardust had wandered toward Star, sniffing curiously. Starstruck stayed near his dam.

Glyph watched the sky, searching for danger. That giant bird was still around; he'd seen her shadow earlier.

"Will you leave once they're grown?" Oath inquired, tossing her head towards the young pegasi.

"I don't know," Nightmare said. She looked at Starstruck, her colt took after her; he resembled a unicorn, having no wings. Nightmare looked back at Oath. "Why? Are you trying to get rid of me?"

"And I stay awake," said the goat head. She entertained herself by chewing her cud while her other two heads and Sky slept.

Sky moved in her sleep, she was having a dream, of coarse she was up in the tree tops, the birds chirping and the wind slowly moving through the trees, Sky reached up to grab a mango and ate it, then she saw a shadow, a big one… bigger than Sky and Night Terror put together, Sky instantly camouflaged her self, but it seemed that the shadow still could see her! Sky jumped of the tree and flew, but the shadow was fast, it reached out big black talons to grab her Sky screamed and plummeted into pitch darkness. Then she woke up. she gasped for air and started breathing hard, she sat strait up, then realized it was only a dream.

Stardust and Starstruck stopped chasing one another and looked at Luna. (i wouldn't imagine Pegasi foals learn to fly or talk until several months of age, not 3 days)

Night Terror's goat head was watching the dragon. The chimera's other heads were asleep. Night Terror wasn't dreaming. "What is it?" asked the goat head.

Starstruck and Stardust watched the Pegasus filly. The unicorn-Pegasus colt turned to look at Luna.
