Found these in northern lower Michigan, not directly related to chickens but I cannot think of any animal that would make tracks side by side like this at this size and I’m dying to know what it could have been! Size makes me think coyote but why would it be walking like this? Were there maybe two that synced up perfectly and that’s throwing me off?

Can you see claw marks?
No claw marks that I can see.
I can check my books when I get home but, at first they strike me as otter for some reaso. but either the sand doesn't hold claw marks or its Bob cat. How far are the strides? Looks like odd coon.
Location is not super close to water (2 miles or so from anything other than a tiny creek) and there are no drag marks from a tail or sliding. Bobcat could be a possibility because I’ve seen them in the area before. Strides were about a foot, maybe 1’ 1/2”.
