When our cat feels we have slept long enough (translation: her food bowl is empty) She walks on our faces and sits on one of our chests with her butt an inch from the chin until we open an eye. And she has a bobbed tail.

Terrie, my cat does pretty much the same thing but adds in kneading, with her claws!!!! One we used to have would stick his little bewhiskered nose in my ear. That will wake you up quick. I'm not sure I'd like my cats to appreciate coffee, and the stinking silkie roo needs to learn that crowing while it is pitch dark and hours from dawn might get him left out to greet dawn and the raccoons all by his lonesome.

I am not a morning person.
