She remained soft on the mouth as she slowed him to a walk. "Annekin's not built for racing, really. Molecular is, though. He won quite a couple of races." Skylar panted, petting Annekin.
 
"well, Ibby is mostly used for long distance endurance, it's actually funny because he looks breakable he is so delicately built, but I ride him hard and he is none the worse for wear." Raz chuckled, giving her a happy look.

At the hospital aglaia and Percy sat in the waiting room waiting for Missy aglaia had her head on percys shoulder fishtailing a small piece of her blue hair "IM sorry your stuck here"Percy finally said

She was about to reply, but the light suddenly fell in Skylar's eyes, and she started gently scratching Annekin's neck. Her happy face took a somber approach. "Annekin..." She suddenly started crying softly. She slid off Annekin and moved to Annekin's shoulder petting his muzzle. She looked so somber she could break a thousand hearts at once with this vulnerable approach.
 
"Annekin..." She murmured, trying to speak through her tears. "Annekin can't run... He'll never know what it's like to really run... Never free in the pasture to run as he pleases."
 
She shook her head. "He broke it when he was a yearling. They said he'd never walk again, but here he is, cantering... After he could walk, trot, and canter again, the vet looked him over again... He's never, ever going to be able to run again..." Again, several tears slipped from her eyes.
