Never had any before, but my oldest daughter has always wanted some.
Ordered from mypetchicken.com, but reading another post, I may never get them it seems. I thought I was ordering from Ideal. They are to be shipped the week of March 22. Im excited, but slowly buying the things I need and still working out a plan for the coop and run.
Anyway, I ordered all hens:

I am new to the BYC site as well and just like you, ordered baby chicks from mypetchicken.com. They will arrive week of Feb. 22nd.....I am very nervous and excited as this is my very first time ordering chicks....I ordered all hens too:
3 delawares
3 barred rocks
1 patridge rock
1 buff rock
2 easter eggers
I was curious with your post, is there a problem with the my pet chicken site, are people not getting their chicks? I haven't heard of an issue but then again, I'm very new to everything. Let me know.

I am a first timer too. I have been trying to get some baby chicks but here in England they dont post chicks. So Ive had to search the web to find a farm near to where I am. I think I will have to have month olds instead. So fingers crossed I will have them for Valentines day
