these were from a farmer who got them as part of the "rainbow layer" mix...from McMurray hatchery

Well, it could lay any color of egg actually. My "Americaunas" are supposed to lay blue eggs...I get a light greenish, almost pure white egg from them. And they ahve beards. So you just never know! Keep your fingers crossed!
