Another dead hen

After we lost all our flock in a fox attack, months later we got some new girls and a roo and was going to start breeding them.

One hen had an impacted crop that wouldn’t go away after endless massages and coconut oil and now she was squatting and not moving for a day. She was looking so off, not eating and making a lot of unhappy/pain noises I had to put her out of her misery. Poor girl this chicken business is rough RIP henny

Maybe I just need to stop buying chickens and just breed my own. There always seems to be something wrong with new ones. Thanks guys n girls.
