Another dog attack by neighbor's dog. Stupid dog, stupid gate, Thank you chickens for running away.

This is sort of to vent my frustration. 2 weeks ago I had an attack while I wasn't home, and one chicken went through a forced haircut. Now another one has a bald spot, I am angry at the stupid dog, and I believe chickens have at least some kind of intelligence when it comes to predators. I need to fix the latch on the gate to their yard, b/c i think it can get loose easily.

It's not our neighbor's fault, the latch must have been loose.
But why cant dogs go vegetarian? Or just settle for dog kibble?

They're awesome neighbors by letting us keep these (illegal) chickens, so I ain't complaining!
I think I fixed the gate by putting a rock climbing loop thing (what's it called?) around it! I can't open it unless I take it out so IN YOUR FACE YOU CHICKEN LOVING DOGS!!

Anyone else hate dogs? YEP, member of the DHS. Dog attack results, 2 laying hens killed, 1 injured. Not to mention the lost hours of sleep due to barking dogs. One paw over the property line, SSS.

I straight up hate any dog now because neighborhood dogs visit too! I HATE dogs!
