If I have to like something to get it for free and its a pricey item, I put up with it til I get the item, then go unlike. They are not posting to your wall either, silly, they are posting to your news feed.

I just went into the BYC FB Page and double checked: I can't post on the peep's walls that have "liked" BYC.

You have to be "friends" with someone for them to post on your wall.

Your news feed is what you get when you log in. Your wall is what you get when you click on your name in the upper left hand corner.

When you "Like" something or become "Friends" with someone on FB, you'll get notifications of those things on your "Wall" which is kinda like a digest of all the activities of the people and pages you've become connected to. You can unlike / unfriend, or you can just say that you don't want to receive notices from that person / thing (which I've done for some peeps who I am friends with, but their constant posts bug me... you know who you are!!! )
