Another Falls Victim to TSC!!

The TSC here is out of chicks...but the Co-Op just got in a batch 2 days ago!
I am proud of myself, I walked in, gave them a stack of care sheets admired the little beasties and walked out without any!
I cheated, I left my wallet in the car...and I was driving the truck!

I like tsc but it would be nicer if they were a lil more knolegable about what chicks and ducks they have most people are looking for particular breeds. i just took my MMhatchery catolage in there to determine the diff i got some of them right but not all of them

I had to go into town today and I knew our local D&B supply just got babies in, I drove by but it was very hard. The only thing that stopped me from going in was knowing my coop has a good number of chickens and I don't want to crowd them.

I know my dh is not going to help me set up another coop, although he is great helping with this one.

Does TSC have a minimum number of chicks or ducklings you have to buy?

There is a minimum 25 if you wish to special order certain breeds although you are allowed to break that 25 down into groups of 5 or more by breed. If you just go into the store, you can buy just one or two chicks if you want at most TSC's.

Our TSC requires that you purchase a minimum of 5 for an in-store purchase; 25 if you order. Chicks are very addicting so I think I have to stay out of TSC in the future..I'll go to the feed store where it is all "order-only." While my husband has been very, very good about my first six chicks, I don't want to push it....at least, not until next Spring
