Hi all,
I’ve joined and introduced myself on the other thread. Hello!
We had our flock of 4 birds (2 Silkies, 2 bantam brahmas) reduced to just the Silkies by a fox, so we’ve recently hatched 3 eggs so the girls have now been joined by a polish and 2 Perkins. Lovely birds! Pictures below.
I was hoping to get some confirmation on the genders of the new chicks? For clarity, the flock is (with their names):
White Silkie - Repeckah - female (100%)
Black silkie - Billie - female (100%)
Black Pekin with red gobbly bits - Dilophosaurus - male?
Black pekin with little yellow bits - Saltasaurus - female?
Brown Polish - T-Rex - male?
Once the male(s) start crowing we’ll have to get rid of them as we live in a residential area sadly. Not even sure how we go about that
Thanks,
Dave
