Yes, that´s it, larger openings and much thicker wire. It´s strong but very manageable. I´ve fenced off most of our property with it, does the job well. Well, it should do if it´s for pigs! A friend of mine has a wild boar x pig and uses this wire. I´ve also made a 6 ft high dog-run out of it. I have 3 biggish dogs, one with springs in her legs, but this keeps them in.
Wow, we don't have bears here yet. I'll also talk to the folks at the feed store to get more ideas on the fencing. One recommendation was to put up a shorter secondary perimeter fence. That could be a pain to maintain and costly to put up. Double fences do mostly work to keep deer out. They don't like to jump into a confined space.
So is this fence to keep geese in or deer out? Or both? In which case, obviously pig-wire isn´t going to do the job...unless you do it 3 metres high or more!

I don´t worry with my chickens or my ducks, because the babies stick pretty close to mum. The thing with goslings, is they´re inquisitive and often lead the family....so can go and get themselves into trouble if they´re able to get through but the parents can´t. Mine once found a gap in the fence and we´d just left the house to go out. Happily, I just glanced along the fence and there were the little things in our neighbour´s field with frantic parents. I had to climb through the barbed wire fence among the cows and cow poop to get to my babies and then fix the fence...all in a dress!
Yes...chickens are the "gateway" farm animals....lol!
