We have two EEs and two Welsummers that are about 5 weeks old
I'm willing to bet right off that the two EEs are pullets, but I have some questions about the Welsummers.

I'm a newb, so...

Do Welsummers typically develop their combs and waddles relatively early?
Both or ours have started to, so I figured (hoped) that it's a breed characteristic.

Additionally, one of them is
a) A bit smaller than everyone else in the group.
b) Has feather development about a week - 2 weeks behind everyone else.
c) Has a bigger comb and waddles than his/her breedmate...and they're reddening already. I actually thought the chick had a cheek wounds at first, they're so red.
d) Might be slightly more aggressive when carried and when I bring meal worms.
e) Edited to add: And a new development: We just moved them to their house, and s/he's taken to sitting in / "guarding" the door at the top of the ramp.

The other Welsummer's comb and waddle do have a little pinkening, but not like the one above.
They're both coloring out the same (I'll try to get pics in a bit).

Do you think I could have a roo (or two...hopefully not two, though) on my hands?

It's not a huge deal if there is one. Where we live, we can have one and my neighbors (my big concern) said they wouldn't mind a little crowing. Welsummer roosters seem awfully pretty, too.

Sounds to me by description that you have a roo on your hands. People usually won't reply unless there are pictures to go on for this kind of topic :) But really, it does sound like it is a boy. I have the same age group as you, and the girls all have orange/yellow combs, and the boys are starting to pink.

Here's an example of my cockerel a week ago (4 weeks old)

Thanks for the replies/heads-up!

Sorry about this being in the wrong area - I'm new to this and've mostly only posted here.

I'll get some pics tonight if it's not pouring down rain :D

You didn't post in the wrong area, lots of people post here for sex of their chicks but there is another forum especially for asking the same thing. :)

Here's one that show's off his/her comb:

Here's an awful pic (I'd just given them some clover and meal worms - they were all going a bit nuts), but you can see his/her waddle (kind of...well, you can tell that there's color there):
