Another Hi from Bulgaria

I see there are already a few members here from Bulgaria, I am English but moved to Bulgaria four years ago. I missed chickens terribly during our years while moving over here and getting settled, went back into keeping them last year but had a bad fox problem over the winter so now have them in chicken tractors. I have a mixed bag of chickens at the moment but want to get some good breeding stock this year.

Hi to the other mybg members I have spotted on here! (I'm leedarkwood).

We also have the fox problem, eagles and owls too. Come up with one idea to stop them, they adapt. Ths year we have them beaten, using bear fence all around and over the chicken run 100' x 200' approx. Fox hits that bear fencing, he'll remember it.

If you do a search, someone has already posted some great photos and info on breeds. The main one is the shuman black, a snappy black with very scarlet comb number!
