MKK Farms sometimes breeds rabbits, but not usually like this! In spring 2012 two of our rabbits mated and had a litter of three. We sold two but kept one for a pet. We put the mother (Twitch) of the new bunny (Rascal) together in the same cage because of lack of space. I knew Rascal was a boy but I didn't think anything of it because he was so young. Well I forgot about that after a month or two (MISTAKE). So this spring Rascal and Twitch mated without us even knowing! Today we found Twitch with to little bunnys next to her. I personally like having new bunnys around so it wasn't a big deal. But to those who don't have room for new bunnys: DON'T PUT MALE AND FEMALE BUNNYS TOGETHER IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO MATE!!! I hope to have pics by the end of the day, but I will make no promises.
Welcome to the world bunnys!
Welcome to the world bunnys!
We have two buns in their run and hutch. It will be an interesting time should one of them wind up being female. We're pretty sure both are male; but, mistakes have been made.
