I looked at pictures of black vultures and I don't think those are it. But it's a good thing to keep in mind I guess.Turkey vultures don't, but black vultures will.
Glad to hear that. There's been so many all of a sudden I was beginning to wonder if I could ever free-range my chickens again!We have black vultures here. They have never attempted to take a chicken even when I used to free range daily. I only had problems with coyotes and fox especially during the spring when they are looking for mates or looking for food for their young. They are mostly after carrion.
