Well, I was playing with watermarks on photobucket and was considering what I'd call our little chicken operation, though I'm not a breeder, really. The first name I came up with was "Speckled Hen Heritage Poultry". I'd be open to other suggestions, though. On our egg labels, we sometimes put "Bacon's Eggs" (our last name with a play on "bacon and eggs")
My main focuses are Barred Plymouth Rocks, Delawares and Blue Orpingtons ( thought I know the Blue Orps aren't an old breed variety)
So, if someone can come up with a catchy name that sounds better than the one I came up with, that'd be cool. I know some of you love the name game.
Other things.. we are in the N. Ga mountains on a hill/small mountain, surrounded by blackberry thickets. That might be used somehow, like Blackberry Hill Farm, though I'd rather not have FARM in the name.
