Thank you all for all your help and advice as I was getting started last fall. I'd come on here and read and read. So we made it thru our snowy Ct winter (well, not quite, it's snowing today!) and the girls started laying, actually on Valentines day the first time! I have 3 barred rock hens, had 4 but went through the dog tragedy, which again you all helped me with, knowing I wasn't truly a bad chicken mom! Accidents do happen! So thanks, and hello, patty
