My name is Charise and my husband, Andrew, and I are planning to get our first set of chicks this Thursday or Friday! We are planning to get 2 plymouth barred rock and 2 Orpington varieties. We have two small children, 2 and 5 months and have heard lots of good things about these two breeds in regards to friendliness.
