My friend and I split an order of 24 "rainbow layer" chicks from Murray McMurray last July. They grew up to be ( I think)
1 brown leghorn or a welsummer rooster
2 brown leghorn or welsummer hens
2 pearl white leghorns
1 red ranger
& 7 silver spangled hamburgs
I built a solid coop with a run and two yards.
I haul home all the leaves I can and shred them into the yards in hopes of heaps of compost.
