Another painting question

I would like to paint the inside of my coop but the chickens are already resident - is the best thing to just paint it and leave it closed up so they can't go in til the paint is dry?

If you have somewhere to put them for a couple of days go ahead and paint, it will probably take a couple of days for the smell of fresh paint to be gone.

I don't really have anywhere I can put them overnight so unless I can get super fast drying paint I guess I won't be painting
